Hello one and all,

Woodcraft NCS - What was it all about?

For four years, Woodcraft Folk ran the NCS (National Citizen Service) programme for young people aged 15 to 17 in Wakefield or Bradford. NCS is a programme all about getting away from home (on residential trips!), doing really adventurous and challenging activities, meeting new people and creating a fantastic community action project to help out your local area.

Height Gate 2013 bookings for Woodcraft groups now open!

Height Gate is a beautiful seventeenth century farmhouse located in idyllic West Yorkshire between Hebden Bridge and Todmorden. The centre is only a short scramble from Stoodley Pike and its location in the hills offers a perfect place to go for a tranquil and relaxing trip away. The fully equipped building holds groups up to 30 people. More information here: http://www.heightgate.org.uk
