The Pioneers were asked about their favourite activities that they do at Woodcraft Folk, Ethan really enjoys the crafts "last week we made a willow lantern at our group night" and Daisy-Mae spoke about how the Bivvies on camp are her favourite part of Woodcraft Folk.

Eastern Region Pioneer Meet Up

Thursday, 1 November 2018

On 22nd October some Pioneers from St Neots, Cambridge and Peterborough got together for a day filled with fun! They met at Hinchingbrooke Country Park in Huntingdon. Pioneers worked together to put a tent up following instructions, they then had to take it down with half of them having their eyes closed! They cooperated to collect wood and build a central fire. Whilst it was still light there was a whittling activity to make a marshmallow stick each and the pioneers fed everyone with hot dogs cooked on trangias (raised outdoor stove).
