How to use the online membership database - guidance

District Membership Secretaries now have access to the online records of members in their District.

This means they can log in to the website at www.woodcraft.org.uk, click through to the Woodcraft Folk membership database, and check their District members for their membership expiry dates, what stage their DBS is at, and update their contact details.

Update from General Council

Monday, 13 July 2020

During lockdown General Council have been meeting to discuss all things Woodcraft. They've put together this great video to introduce themselves to you and update you on what is happening within the movement and the road map to re-opening after the covid-19 lockdown.

General council's main responsibilities are to help set and fulfill the main objectives of the organisation, make sure we've enough money to do what we want, set policies, employ staff and ensure we met all our legal obligations as a registered charity.

Member Update - July 1st

Monday, 6 July 2020

We would like to thank all of our members, volunteers and staff for the fantastic resilience and efforts they have made over the past few months as we have all responded to the Covid-19 crisis. It has been fantastic to see so many groups develop creative ways of continuing to engage and inspire children and young people. We would particularly like to thank the #DreamBigAtHome team and everyone who has shared practice to help the movement learn and respond.

Put your Spring clear out to good use and help us raise funds!

Thursday, 28 May 2020

Have you been using this time in lockdown as an opportunity for a Spring clear out?

If the answer's yes, please think about using those unwanted items to help us raise much needed funds for Woodcraft Folk.

EBay has launched a Big Charity Sell where you can sell your unwanted items and opt for up to 100% of the proceeds to be donated directly to a charity of your choice.

According to eBay UK an estimated £51 million worth of unwanted items have been thrown away during lockdown.

COVID-19 Appeal

We are adapting our work to reach as many children and young people as possible during the COVID-19 outbreak – but we need your help!

Woodcraft Folk are continuing our role in supporting young people to play games, make friends and learn about big ideas from climate change to social justice through co-operative activities.

Our Development Team has been producing guidance and training for our team of 3,000 volunteers in how to stay safe online and facilitate engaging programme.
