Women’s Retreat: Spring into action 

Dates: Monday 18-20 March 2019

Location: Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre

A 3 day retreat in the Peak District for women in the Woodcraft Folk and friends to recharge after the winter at Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre.   This will be an opportunity to explore the stunning landscape around the centre by walking, trail running as well as to relax using yoga, art and song.  All activities are optional.

Spring Awakening 2019

Winter is slowly but surely drawing to a close. And with this comes another DF event, Spring Awakening! On the 10th to 14th of April, we’re holding our annual back-to-basics camp near Nottingham. There will be plenty of interesting workshops, new people to meet and tons of fun to be had! What’s more, the event only costs £60!

Burning the Clocks 2018

This yearly celebration of the Winter Solstice on 21st December in Brighton had the theme 'Remembrance' this year. Brighton Central and Hove District decided to remember refugees/asylum seekers/migrants who bravely make sea crossings to get to a place of safety. Little did we know how important and relevant this would be, by the day of the event, when quite a few little boats bringing asylum seekers had crossed the channel and landed just along the coast in Kent. Our big lantern boat with the remembrance message led all the little boats, which fanned out behind.

Stop DESI campaign

This is Newham Venturers in London have launched a Woodcraft campaign to stop the DSEI arms fair at the Excel Centre. 

In September an arms fair will be hosted in east London where countries from all over the world will be invited to buy and trade weapons.
