·        Think you’ve got what it takes to become a trainer in the Woodcraft Folk?

·        Interested in helping other people learn and achieve their potential?

·        Not sure how to stay in touch now you’re no longer a DF?

·        Want to find out how to run better workshops?

·        Something for your CV, sir?

Then come along to a weekend training course in November, which has been developed as part of the TREE programme, which aims to help young members develop the skills they need to become trainers.

We’ve developed a Young Trainers course which is specifically aimed at young people under the age of 25.  Some of our young people are already involved in delivering training both to the wider Woodcraft movement and on specific projects like MEST UP and Face Your Elephant.  However we’d like to encourage and support even more young people to develop the necessary skills to become trainers, not only within Woodcraft but externally too.  Participants in the Young Trainers scheme will be eligible for assessment for the ASDAN Activity Award.

When and where? Up North: Friday 18th – Sunday 20th November 2011 at Manchester YHA

Booking forms are attached further down this page but for further information please contact Tracy Cleveland ,tracy.cleveland@woodcraft.org.uk or 020 8658 3745
