Northern Region Leader Training: Growing your Groups

We're hosting a one day leader training oppurtunity in Manchester for our volunteers both new and old

  • This one day course will focus on the lessons learned from our recent new group development projects, as well as the wealth of tools and resources that exist to support our volunteers, whatever their experience or level of engagement. Training will involve a mixture of practical exercises, group discussions and action planning. 
  • New volunteers will have the opportunity to learn how to plan and deliver a programme of activities rooted in Woodcraft Folk's aims & principles, and keep young people safe in our groups.
  • More experienced leaders will be able to reflect and share good practice and explore how to manage the recruitment of young members and support other volunteers to ensure our groups continue to thrive and reflect the diversity of the communities they serve.
  • Its a FREE EVENT

  • Participants will need to bring along a packed lunch

  • A creche will be available on the day - please ensure to book your children on to the event
