New Leader Training Day

We've launched #DreamBigAtHome!

Our new lockdown website has hundreds of activities and games to do at home, weekly challenges to try and a regular programme of live workshops and events online, as well as information on how our groups can operate during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Event date:
26 January 2019 - 10:30am - 4:30pm
Event location:
Diss Methodist Church, Victoria Road, Diss, IP22 4EY
The day will run from 10:30am-4:30pm

During the day we will cover:
  • Introduction to Woodcraft Folk and history of the organisation
  • Aims and Principles of Woodcraft Folk
  • Programme planning for groups
  • Activity/game share
  • Intro to safeguarding
Travel expenses can be reimbursed if needed and please let us know if you need any help organising travel. Please bring your own pack lunch as we will have a break. Tea/coffee, cold drinks and and biscuits will be provided.

For those who can attend it will be a great experience to learn more about Woodcraft Folk and meet others who are working with groups in and around the Eastern Region especially in Norfolk/Suffolk. This is a great opportunity for new volunteers working with our groups to learn about the organisation and develop new ideas as well as being very useful for existing volunteers to refresh their knowledge and take home some new ideas to their groups.

If any questions/problems or queries please do contact me by email or phone.07422966127
