Fireside Chats and Bright Ideas - Supporting Young People to Influence Decision Making

We've launched #DreamBigAtHome!

Our new lockdown website has hundreds of activities and games to do at home, weekly challenges to try and a regular programme of live workshops and events online, as well as information on how our groups can operate during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Event date:
29 October 2020 - 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Event location:

Woodcraft Folk is passionate about empowering our members and young people to have their say listened to! Every month General Council (Woodcraft Folk Trustees) will be leading interactive discussion sessions on topics that are important to helping the organisation grow and be the best we can be to promote education for social change. All are welcome and encouraged to join these sessions.

This session will be discussions on allowing young people to influence when making decisions within the organisation. There will be time to hear ideas of how we can do better at supporting young people to have their ideas heard as well as finding out if other groups have ideas/techniques that could help you. Do you think there is enough support? could there be more? We will be taking ideas and discussions from this session to help focus and form future decision making in the organisation as much as possible.
