This session will be focusing on Eco-feminist projects like Biogas plant that produces electricity and gas through modern toilet waste which would be another solution to the two crucial global issues we face to date. The plant directly reduces carbon emissions, deforestation, lung diseases in women, use of harmful pesticides by a generation of electricity and gas through the plant fed with cow-dung. Women’s health and financial independence derived from the time and access to education; entrepreneurship opportunity utilising ‘by-products’ of the plant for organic and fish farming, and making home-made standard sanitary items for other women (made by women for women and environment) are few essential topics Arya Manandhar aspires to share.

For DFs and adults (16+).
