CANCELLED - From Aims & Principles to Social Action: Reflecting on #iWill Project

We've launched #DreamBigAtHome!

Our new lockdown website has hundreds of activities and games to do at home, weekly challenges to try and a regular programme of live workshops and events online, as well as information on how our groups can operate during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Event date:
7 September 2019 - 12:30pm - 4:30pm
Event location:
St Mary's Parish Hall, Huntingdon, PE29 3AP

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED - Please contact if you are interested in taking any of the activities further in another setting.

This afternoon at St Mary's Parish Hall will be an opportunity to share and celebrate what we have learnt and achieved together through social action activities funded by #iWill via the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation in 2019.

The event is aimed at young people and volunteers who have participated in either:

  • Bushcraft and Social Action Training Day, April 2019
  • "The World We Want To See" Camp, May 2019
  • OR undertaken a social action project in the last year

However, others who wish to find out more about social action in a Woodcraft Folk context and help us to develop new resources are also welcome to join us.

During the afternoon, attendees will be asked to share social action projects they've been invovled with as well as participate in reflection and evaluation activities. Through the event we aim to further develop session plans and other resources created through the grant activities to share more widely with other Woodcraft Folk Districts.

Hot and cold drinks, cake and biscuits will be provided. Attendees can also claim for their travel expenses or ask for a train ticket to be purchased in advance.

To book you place, please email by Monday 2nd September 2019.

This activity is part of a project funded by #iWill through the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.
