Ever wanted to become part of the decisions that guide Woodcraft:

  • Where should we spend our money?
  • What should the next venturer session be about?
  • Exactly how much cheese do we need for district camp?
  • but don’t really know where to start?

When someone mentions meetings, do you think of sitting at tables for hours and hours with the conversation going round in circles?

Well think again!

Run across a weekend, Bored Meetings is a series of interactive workshops, games and activities to get everyone thinking about the important qualities needed when making decisions, how to make meetings more fun, interesting and engaging, how to get groups of people working together and how to make your voice heard.

Bored Meetings training is aimed at any Venturer, DF or Kinsfolk who is on a committee in Woodcraft or wants to be on one, whether that’s your district camp committee or General Council. Previous Bored Meetings participants have been from district committees, Venturer Committee, DF Committee, General Council, Welsh Council, Scottish Exec, camp organising teams and more. Why not bring a couple of people from your committee along with you?

The training is running alongside Development Conference, so there will be lots of time to meet up and share your experiences with people from all across Woodcraft, whilst learning new skills that you can take back to your groups and districts.

How much does it cost?

Everything is free including food and travel!
