From Aims & Principles to Social Action: Reflecting on #iWill Project

Event date:
7 September 2019 - 12:30pm - 4:30pm
Event location:
St Mary's Parish Hall, Huntingdon, PE29 3AP

This afternoon at St Mary's Parish Hall will be an opportunity to share and celebrate what we have learnt and achieved together through social action activities funded by #iWill via the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation in 2019.

The event is aimed at young people and volunteers who have participated in either:

  • Bushcraft and Social Action Training Day, April 2019
  • "The World We Want To See" Camp, May 2019
  • And/or undertaken a social action project during Summer 2019

However, others who wish to find out more about social action in a Woodcraft Folk context are welcome to join us.

During the afternoon, attendees will be asked to bring and present their groups social action projects as well as participate in a series of reflection and evaluation exercises. Through the event we also aim to further develop session plans and other resources created through the grant activities to share more widely with other Woodcraft Folk Districts.

Hot and cold drinks, cake and biscuits will be provided. Attendees can also claim for their travel expenses or ask for a train ticket to be purchased in advance.

To book you place, please email pippa@woodcraft.org.uk by Monday 2nd September 2019.

This activity is part of a project funded by #iWill through the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.
