Accommodation in bell tents is available for those who want it. All food and refreshments will be provided.\n\n\n\nPerfect for camp leaders, volunteers and outdoor educators working with young people.\n\n\n\nThis interactive session will give you the tools and confidence to embed sustainability and climate resilience into your planning without compromising on the fun. Programme opportunities and benefits of allowing engagement with nature.\n\n\n\nLocal community: Respecting and connecting with the community, its environment and heritage.\n\n\n\n\nThe event has been designed to give participants the following outcomes:\n\n\n\n\nAn awareness of the carbon, environmental and social costs and impacts of camping activities, that combine to make our camping footprint\n\n\n\nIncreased understanding of practical approaches that reduces the footprint of residential camps, and the confidence to take action/start their journey\n\n\n\nDeveloped a peer support network, which encourages experimentation, sharing of learning and problem solving within and across organisations\n\n\n\nInspired after experiencing a fun and skills based showcase of practices\n\n\n\n\nSpaces are limited.
