DESCRIPTION:\nFancy some fresh air, good company and a bit of manual labour in a wild corner of the PeakDistrict?\n\n\n\nWe are running a volunteer work weekend on November 23rd and 24thIt should be a fun weekend with the opportunity to learn new skills and meet like mindedpeople who want to help out at Lockerbrook.\n\n\n\nJoin us at our Lockerbrook Centre for our Volunteer Working Weekend from 9.30am on Sat 23 – 2pm on Sun 24 Nov.\n\n\n\nThe weekend will comprise: volunteer work all day Saturday, social Saturday night, and workSunday morning including cleaning and preparing the centre for the next group.\n\n\n\nTasks will include:\n\n\n\n\nFixing the potholes in the track\n\n\n\nGardening & pruning\n\n\n\nPipe lagging\n\n\n\nClearing leaves\n\n\n\nFixing the shed roof\n\n\n\nPainting and decorating\n\n\n\n\nYou can come for the whole weekend or just a day, accommodation is free and food will beprovided for a small donation from Saturday Lunch to Sunday lunch.\n\n\n\nAccommodation is available in the bunkhouse on Friday and Sat nights if required.\n\n\n\nVenturers and young people age 13 and above are welcome but will need to be accompaniedby a parent/carer. We have limited space for under 18s if they are staying over. This is an openevent and we are expecting some Sheffield students and non Woodcraft adults, so youngpeople will need to be supervised at all times.
