Cocoa farmer

Aim: To understand why consumers should pay a fair price for cocoa.
You will need: Props (optional).
Duration: 30 minutes

As a group you will role play two scenarios. One is set in Ghana, the other in the UK. Each group will be performing their scenes at the same time.

Mini mossie net

Aim: To understand how people can be protected from Malaria.
You will need: Empty match boxes, thin wire, scraps of fabric, circular pieces of net, paper clips, string.
Duration: 40 minutes

Make a miniature bed with a mosquito net. Explain that by sleeping under nets, people can protect themselves from being bitten by mosquitoes while they are sleeping. Mosquitoes carry Malaria, which can be a deadly disease.
