Woodcraft International camp 2020

Sunday, 11 December 2016

Woodcraft will be hosting an international camp in the summer of 2020.

Woodcrafters of all ages are invited to join us along with IFM-SEI groups from all over the world, for a week of fun and festivity.

We are looking for people to help us make this camp the best we've had. Whatever your skills: running games, making the site look great or just bringing your group along, we want to hear from you. If you'd like to be involved in any way, please email us on

At this summers Folk assembly there will be elections for the camp board. If you would like to see the Job descriptions for each board role please se the event page: http://www.woodcraft.org.uk/activities/international-camp-2020

There will be an open meeting on 18th February 2017 at the Birmingham and Midlands Institute (same place as the AGM) where we will be shortlisting campsites and themes, as well as discussing the draft budget.

Lloyd Russell-Moyle is currently leading the search for a suitable site. We will need a site which can accomodate up to 4000 people, but due to us camping in large circles, we will be looking for sites with quoted capacities of around 10 000 people.  If you have any ideas please email: lloyd.russell-moyle@woodcraft.org.uk
