Diwrnod Teganau & Choginio ar Dân Awyr Agored

Toy Day & Campfire Cooking

Fe drefnodd Cywion a Dreigiau Dyfrdwy ddiwrnod teganau ar gyfer ein cyfarfod olaf yn mis Mawrth. Daeth pawb â thegan gyda nhw i’r grŵp ac fe ddyfeision gêmau i chwarae gyda’r teganau. Enw’r gêmau oedd ‘Siarc yn y Dŵr’ a ‘Mwnciod yn y Goeden’. Wrth goginio fe bliciodd y Dreigiau (oedran 5-8) y llysiau ac yna eu torri er mwyn gwneud cawl blasus yn ein crochan. Cawsom foron, pannas, tatws a chennin, ynghyd â ychydig o stoc a pherlysiau yn ein cawl. Gwnaeth y Cywion (oedran 2-4) does ar gyfer gwneud pizza cyn lapio’r toes gludiog o amgylch ffyn bychan er mwyn eu coginio dros y tân awyr agored.

Dyfrdwy Woodchips & Elfins organised a Toy Day for our last meeting in March. We all brought a toy to play with together and we made up games with our toys. The games were called, 'Shark in the Water' and 'Monkey's in a tree'. The Elfins (aged 5-8) peeled and cut up the vegetables for a delicious soup which we cooked in our Dutch Oven. We had carrots, parsnips, potatoes and leeks, along with some stock and herbs in our soup. The Woodchips (aged 2- 4) made pizza dough, then we all got sticky wrapping the dough around sticks to be cooked over the campfire.

Dyma’r rysait a ddefnyddiom:                                                      This is the recipe we used:

500g o bowdr codi                                                                          500g self-raising flour

3 llwy fwrdd o siwgr                                                                        3 tbsp sugar

300ml o ddŵr                                                                                   300ish ml water

Yn gyntaf roedd rhaid cymysgu y cynhwysion sych mewn powlen, ac yna roedd yn rhaid ychwanegu ychydig o ddŵr tipyn wrth ddipyn er mwyn gwneud toes llyfn. Nes ymlaen roeddem yn gallu rholio siapiau selsig gyda’r toes (tua 2cm o drwch) cyn troelli a lapio yr rhain o amgylch pen y ffyn. Fe goginiom y pizzas troelliog dros weddillion y tân – roeddynt yn flasus iawn!

First we mixed the dry ingredients in a bowl, then we added water bit by bit to make a smooth dough. Later, we rolled sausage shapes of dough (about 2cm thick) and wrapped these around the end of a stick, twisting as we went. We cooked the twisty pizzas over the embers of our fire. It was yummy!
