New Groups Project Staff Recruitment

Friday, 16 January 2015

The Woodcraft Folk has secured grant funding to expand the New Groups Project currently running in West Yorkshire to additional areas of the UK. A number of new roles are available as part of the project team:

  • A New Groups Project Officer to work in Merseyside
  • New Groups Support Officers to work in Merseyside, Glasgow, North Wales and County Durham

The aim of the project is to create new opportunities for young people to be part of Woodcraft Folk by reaching out to new communities and expanding the capacity of our existing groups in these areas. These roles will be vital in delivering this aim and growing the Woodcraft Folk in communities around the UK.

If you are an enabler, passionate about motivating and supporting local communities and people to start new Woodcraft Folk groups for children aged 4 to 13, can inspire others to volunteer and support them to create sustainable groups, then we want to hear from you.

Applications for these roles are now closed. Interviews will be held in the coming weeks as follows:

  • Merseyside - Wednesday 18 February
  • County Durham - Friday 20 February
  • Glasgow - Wednesday 25 February
  • North Wales - Monday 2 March
