I have just got back from SE Regional Camp at Blacklands farm, and had the most amazing week - despite the rain. Thanks to everyone who made it so much fun, and to Eric for attending and supporting clan 4!!

Why does no one leave email addresses these days? (Mine is kev@cheerful.com if it doesn't get displayed later)

Hey Miranda, feel free to get in touch as we camped together a few times (I was in Purley Woodcraft then)

See you on Saturday Charlie, my family is gatecrashing the South East regional camp and I think I'm in the same village as Hove.

Any ex-Birkenhead / ex-Wallasey Woodcrafters that want to get in touch with anyone from years ago, feel free to get in touch as well.

Kev.

Hi, I'm glad you have a website now, It's good.
I used to go to Teddington Woodcraft folk, from 7 to 17. I loved it. Camping was great, I really likes the International camps. I also got to go to abroad to stay with some of the Czechs that came over.
We had a great time. My brother and I are very glad our mum joined us when we were little.
Carry on the good work!

Hey, ive been a woodcraft member since i was about 6 or so, started of as elfin, now nearly 18 and a DF. i love woodcraft, the friendshipp, the bonding, the camps, just in general working together to make a world a better place, just a shame not everyone can be the same,
its sad to hear that theres not that many woodcraft and when you mention it to people, they go whaa?
maybe its just me, because im young and alot of the younger generation havnt heard off it,

i just hope the spirits carriess on
as gradually the main people who keep our woodcraft in enfield, based in north london together are leaving after years

and our groups getting smaller and smaller:(

but we do our best :D
so iff anyone lives locally feel free to come along or bring ur kids to elfins

the kids love it :D

Hi Everyone, I was a member in the early 80's, I have very fond memories of our group!!! The camps were especially good fun!!! Met some lovely friends but all lost touch now!! My leader was Tony Thompson, if anyone knows him, I would love to hear from anyone to catch up.... I think it is great that WF is still going , I wish there was a group near e now so I could send my son...

Came accross this site by accident. I knew WCF was still going strong because an old school/wcf friend is still involved (I think) Ruth Connolly nee Becker. Brilliant website. I joined as an elfin in the early sixties and went on to become a pioneer and a venturer. My mum-Maisie-was quite involved taking subs etc and coming along to camps and trips. For me as a London girl it was brilliant and helped form my great love of the countryside (I now live in deepest Dorset and love it!) Unfortunatly when my daughters were growing up there were no local groups.
Does anyone remember Andrea Rogers, Jackie Ward, Gina Milne, Ruth and Jane Becker or Virgina and Anita Potts? There were plenty of others but it was a along time ago!!!! Love to hear from anyone.

Thanks to Keith Skinner for the info on Margaret Jones from Wallasey. I remember her making us a very nice supper at Scunthorpe (Normanby Hall) Camp in 1967. I remember her Husband George was a nice chap but boy could he bellow when he wanted to.
