If you'd like to stand for General Council or Standing Orders Committee, you need to complete your nomination form (downloadable below) and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12noon on Tuesday 19 March 2013. Elections will be held at Annual Gathering.
Annual Gathering is the democratic heart of the Woodcraft Folk, but it’s so much more than that. As well as celebrating our achievements over the past year & electing our General Council, we discuss future plans for the movement, share skills & experiences, and enjoy each other’s company in true Woodcraft style.
2012 is the International Year of Co-operatives, and the biggest event of the year is Co-operatives United, a huge festival of co-operatives from all over the world. It should be a memorable and inspiring event, and a chance to meet co-operators from countries and organisations we've never worked with before.
Contact Awel for more information.
Woodcraft Folk's Annual Gathering 2012 will take place on the weekend of 27-29 April 2012 at Scout Park in Bounds Green, North London (just a few minutes walk from Bound Green tube or Bowes Park rail).
More details will be published soon, but get the date in your diary now and expect the usual Woodcraft Folk mix of democracy, skill-sharing, singing and games.
