The Woodcraft Folk is hosting an international camp in 2020.
We are beginning the search for a site and would love to hear your suggestions. We will need a site which can accomodate up to 4000 people, but due to us camping in large circles, we will be looking for sites with quoted capacities of around 10 000 people.
London Committee has found a band, The Passing Moment, and an affordable hall in central London for a Ceilidh.
This event is aimed at children and adults. The standard ticket will cost £10; children and those on no or low incomes will be charged £5. The price will include a simple Ploughman’s (bread, cheese, pickle); drinks and snacks will be available for donations.
If possible please bring a mug.
We need to know numbers, so please get in touch with Anna to book your tickets.

Join folk from Leeds, Manchester and further afield. Let’s camp, eat and play together, within sight of a National Trust deer park. Activities will include bushcraft, den building, a pea fair, junk crafts and music around the campfire!
If you still haven’t booked for Venturer Camp then don’t worry – there’s still time to join us!
There are lots of ways to publicise your group. Here are some of the techniques we know work.
Face to face outreach sessions are a great way of promoting your group. Families who have met and had fun with you are far more likely to come back than if they’ve just read a flyer.
