Young Leaders - WOODCRAFT NEEDS YOU!
We at Woodcraft we believe that all young people who want to should be able to take on leadership roles in a way that best suits them. But what is a leader? A leader comes in all sorts shapes and sizes.
Development Conference
This year's second Development Conference is happening at the YHA in Bristol. It will be a chance for all Woodcraft members, whatever their age and role in Woodcraft Folk, to get together for socialising, workshops, discussions on current Woodcraft topics, and generally sharing ideas and friendship.
Meet the new Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre team
Jo Holliday is the new Centre Manager. Her main objective is to develop the Centre to be an outstanding activity centre for Woodcraft Folk and other groups. Previously she worked in the student union movement for over 25 years supporting international students. She was also a group leader for many years when her daughters were active in Woodcraft and has fond memories of bringing groups up to stay at Lockerbrook! When she is not working she is a keen off-road runner in the Peak District and beekeeper/allotmenteer.
