Woodcraft Folk and political activity

Woodcraft Folk members are playing an active role in the large public demonstrations in 2010 and 2011. Just like in 2003 the movement's high profile in civil society offers us the prospect of reaching out to new adults and children. However, as we become more visible, so we must expect our position to be questioned - so here are some questions answered.

District Media Guide

The guide below is for Woodcraft Folk groups and districts who want to get coverage in their local press. It could be to publicise the launch of a new group, recruit new volunteers, or celebrate other Woodcraft activities.

Group night activities to prepare for Annual Gathering

What is Annual Gathering?

Annual Gathering is a two day event which happens every year. It’s the only annual camp which gathers Woodcraft Folk of all ages from right across the UK. It is also the setting for our national Annual Conference, or AGM. During the conference the delegates discuss how Woodcraft Folk works and what we do as an organisation. Their decisions inform Woodcraft Folk activity and policy for groups, districts, General Council and the staff.

Woodcraft Folk leaflet

Below you can download the generic Woodcraft Folk information leaflet. It's in two pages, the outside of the leaflet and the inside of the leaflet. If you print the pdf double-sided, you can fold it into a 3-panel leaflet. Don't forget to add your local group's contact details in the yellow box on the back.

Alternatively contact Folk Office and ask us to send you a batch of printed leaflets.
