Folk Assembly is a gathering of Woodcraft Folk members from all over the country to share skills and discuss the things that matter to us and to enjoy each other’s company. The event will include:

  • Open space discussion
  • Training and structured workshops
  • Skill sharing
  • Social activities

Order our new leaflets in Arabic, Mandarin or Urdu now!

These colourful leaflets were designed by the New groups project last year and include eye-catching images and plenty of reasons for children and young people to get involved with Woodcraft.

The leaflets are available in Arabic, Mandarin and Urdu with English on the reverse. Every leaflet includes contact details for head office and the web address for readers to find their nearest group.

Join our team to reach new communities in the Eastern Region

Thanks to our successful track record of developing new groups, Woodcraft Folk has secured a significant grant to help us reach new communities in the Eastern Region, focusing on the counties of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

This funding is to work with young people aged between 10 and 20, so we will be looking to start up new Pioneer, Venturer and DF groups in our target communities, which include Cambridge, Peterborough, King's Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Thetford, Norwich, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, St Neots and Lowestoft.

General Council Meeting Update

Our board of Trustee also known as General Council met last weekend to discuss all things Woodcraft Folk. General council's main responsibilities are to help set and fulfil the main aims of the organisation, make sure we've enough money to do what we want, set policies, employ staff and ensure we met all our legal obligations as a registered charity.

Little People Tall Tales

LONDON ELFIN CAMP AUGUST 25TH TO 28TH OF AUGUST 2017 DULWICH FORT

We're organising a summer camp for Elfins. The camp theme will be to use stories and narratives to voice the concerns and issues of young people from across the world today. Camp Activities will include:

Volunteer Recognition Certificate

You can use this certificate to recognise the contribution that volunteers make in your group or district. You could also use it to thank a visiting speaker, or anyone who helps your group to raise funds. The attached PDF is print-ready, so can either be run off on your own printer or printed commercially.
