The results are in for this years Membership Badge Competition!!

Thursday, 23 November 2017

We're pleased to announce that the winner of this year Membership Badge competition is Alicia from the Ealing & Hammersmith District. We received over 133 votes and the result was very close with only nine votes separating 1st and 2nd place.

We'd like to thank the 151 members who made an entry and their Districts for supporting them to get their entries in:

Succession of volunteers

Its important as a Woodcraft Folk group that as well as operating on a day to day basis you also look to the future. We've  found over the last few years groups that had been run by longstanding members sadly folded when these key volunteers stood down. We want to support our groups to start thinking about volunteer succession and why it's important to have an action plan now rather then being reactive to a volunteer stepping down.

Group Sustainability & Growth

Sustaining existing groups & helping them to grow is one of Woodcraft Folk’s strategic priorities and we want to give our groups as much support as possible to ensure they continue to provide Folk activities for children and young people in their local area.
