Woodcraft Folk Campaign Hub
Hello and welcome to the Woodcraft Campaigns Hub! This is your one-stop-shop for learning about and more importantly getting involved with all the different campaigns that various Woodcraft groups have been working on to make the social change we believe in, a reality.
In the hub you will find all that you need to join in with a campaign, or to start one for yourself. So whether you're most interested in fighting poverty, supporting workers who go on strike, or defending education against rising tuition fees, you're in the right place. Click through various pages below to pick up loads of info and bags of resources. Happy Campaigning!
If you want to add resources, info and campaigns to the page, then we are always keen to expand the hub and increase the potential to arm Woodcraft members with the tools they need. Drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll see what we can do.
The Visa Campaign was set by Woodcraft Folk and IFM-SEI. The campaign is about getting the UKBA to allow young people to travel the world freely to meet other young people to progress social change. The website below provides advice on visa applications for young volunteers and members of youth delegations. It also provides information on the efforts of Woodcraft Folk and the IFM to raise awareness of visa issues.http://visas.woodcraft.org.uk/
A Right to Refuge
Through the TREE project, young people across Woodcraft Folk chose as their campaign 'A Right to Refuge,' a campaign empowering Woodcraft members to support refugees and asylum seekiers and encouraging the public to welcome people seeking sanctuary in their communities.
