Shaping Participation: sharing practice for a stronger youth-led future
Woodcraft Folk and NCVYS (the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services) are bringing together many youth organisations and colleagues from the co-operative sector for a free day of workshops and discussions on the theme of youth participation. It will be a brilliant chance to find out how other organisations involve young people, and celebrate all the ways Woodcraft Folk and NCVYS empower younger members. As TREE's final big event, we also hope it will be a chance to look back on five years of exciting development work and hand over our learning and resources to Woodcraft Folk's team of highly skilled volunteer Ambassadors of Youth Participation!
The event will be held at Regent's University, right in the middle of Regent's Park in London: www.regentsevents.co.uk. The main programme will be from 10am till 4pm but you're very welcome to arrive from 9am to start mingling, and stick around till 5pm.
More information is in the attached flyer.

If your group, committee, or project has ways of involving young people that you'd like to share, whether through a workshop, a talk, a discussion or a display, we'd love to hear from you, as the programme is currently being put together. Please get in touch!
The programme so far includes workshops run by our very own Pioneers, Venturers and DFs - so please come along and support them, and bring your skills in co-operation and friendship to share the best of Woodcraft Folk and make this event as fun as it can be!
Bookings are now full and the programme has been published, below. If you've booked in, don't forget to let us know which workshops and discussions you'd prefer to attend.
